The bicycle company Los Pinguinos was founded in beautiful colonial San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, México, in 1993. Since then they have been offering half and multi-day bike tours in this southern state and have been leading 2 week cycling tours in other states of México. Now, Los Pinguinos, spread out their wings to another beautiful country COSTA RICA and are happy to, for the first time, announce their tours in Costa Rica, named:   MotMot Adventure Bike Tours.
MotMot offers no-frills guided, self supported bike tours in the Northern part of Costa Rica and on the peninsula de Nicoya.

    Every minute is a highlight! Exciting hikes in Cloud and Rainforests, face your fear crossing hanging bridges or even a Canopy Tour for the adventurer. Challenging climb to a crater with breathtaking views. Watch the lava flow at Volcano Arenal. On scenic quiet inland roads you can even meet some howler monkeys or enjoy the company of butterflies flying around your head.

    For the moment we offer these tours in February/March, May/June and Nov/Dec.
Eating and sleeping where the locals do, we go from inn-to inn. Our small group cycling tours are limited to 8 cyclists, plus 1 or 2 friendly, experienced guides (up to 4 cyclists only 1 guide).
